Can't believe this is a real game

So I'm making this game about a trashcan with a cat inside of it

My deadline is the end of March.. this year.

Alright, I made platform buttons.

If I spam a bunch of trashcans with those platform buttons it should be a good level, right?

Last time I also added buttons and I thought that it should be way more fun and involving the cat's agility if I add timers to them.

I think it's quite fun to try to catch the door before it closes.

But then I thought that the basic trashcan was too boring and I thought of those green trashcans with wheels.

So it's basically the same trashcan but with way lower friction, it's hacky but it's really fun to play with so it will do for now.
I swear, this trashcan is seriously challenging to control, It's going to be so sweet when people rage on it but the moment they get the hang of it,  it should be fun.

Then I had enough of making mechanics so I jumped into drawing some tilesets.
I thought where is this cat? In a forest? Forests don't have trashcans so my basic knowledge of drawing tilesets is out the window.
So I just made blocks with lighter outlines..
But I added background, benches, streetlamps, trees and bushes to give it some flare!

I also stole a shader for the wind on the trees and bushes.

But what's the goal of the kitty?
Just enter a kitty door like any other platformer?
Since I have a really tight deadline that sounds like a really good idea.
So I drew a garbage truck and the goal is to throw away the trash!

And finally I wanted to make some levels, I started out real slow, but it turned out to be super fun.
The basic trashcan feels familiar, but the wheelie is so much fun, I might give that one the spotlight!
Now I'm just building levels.

Anyways, stay out of trouble, bye.
