update would be needed, good, the equ menegment was epic
Such a cool game, it gave me some Project Zomboid vibes. You need to check out the boss fight after I died, I think it is a bug where the game just let you win as the boss never fights back once you respawn:
Game looks so great
Would love to help with Russian translation of this game and it's store page on Steam!
Hey Berry, currently I'm not looking to improve upon this project. But thank you for reaching out. I'll keep you in mind for future stuff.
nice
This was really good! Has a darkwood top down feel to it :)
Full Play AXE ONLY Achievement NO Commentary
This Game gave me quite the thrill of top down gaming genre, and for a survival horror game, definitely higher quality than most indie games I've come across.. In the video, I felt this game was similar to DARKWOOD, collecting materials while facing off hordes of creatures; attempting to revel in the difference between real.. and fake, in order to discern the story. The exception, Guns and monsters GALLOR!! With a good fashioned boss fight in the end.
Pros: (Subjective)
The functions were smooth with a multi-variety of weaponry to choose from, ranging from an og pistol, to heavy duty SHOOOTGOOON; down to cutting limb from limb wit an AXE! Entering and clearing each room felt rewarding as the map fills up to it's entirety. Variety of challenging enemies and a beautiful boss fight to finish off the game. The inventory was also a change in gameplay, having that classic inventory rearrange but with the exception of actually physically holding an item/weapon, changes the aspect of what you can have on you, and whether or not you can grab an item on the floor with something in your hand, keeps the player stationed, clearing out a room before checking equipment.. BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED! Similarly, with NO item/weapon in hand, your movement increases, which furthermore extends that design further.. WANT POWER?! or agility, one or the other.. can't have both. LOVE EEEET!
Cons: (Subjective)
Even though there was a variety of enemies, there is only 3 different types; when grouped together, it becomes an enjoyable experience, however, when there are individual enemies, it's slow going. Through most of the game, enemies tend to not group. I would've liked to get a DOOM styled fight, where ammo runs low while trying to push back the horde of enemies facing the player.
Through and through it was definitely an enjoyable experience and thank you Mads for this beautifully designed game!!!ππΌππΌ

You know it's a fun game when I start to get emotional over it, lol. Ignoring all my idiocies, it was quite the experience to play through at midnight. Enjoyed it!
The best game by the best developer π
haha stooop
Good game
Anyway, to me, the game isn't all that hard and the boss is a proper boss where it tests all you learnt throughout playing the game. Such as the fact that not wielding any weapons lets you move faster! There is only 3 enemy types though besides the boss, who are all pretty easy to deal with, even in small groups. Ranged or enemies with different mechanics would've been nice!
All in all... it is free so there is no harm in anyone playing it! Well worth its playtime too!
Hey Sweet gameplay.
Glad you enjoyed the game and it's weird inventory system.
Hope it was worth the time.
Cheers!
I certainly wouldn't call the inventory system "weird"! I consider it more... unique and creative! It makes the player think about their inventory space and attempt to maximize the placement of objects to make the most out of it! Along with leaving enough room so that the player can quickly swap/change between weapons or reloading too!
Ahem, but, yes, it was a great experience! ^_^
